The Signing Time Academy depends on a team of Area Directors to provide quality support to our amazing team of Instructors. We are pleased to welcome a new Area Director for the Upper Midwest Region (Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin, and also the continent of Africa): Master Signing Time Instructor Abbey Cook from Illinois.

Abbey holds a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Gallaudet University and is the founder of Communication Junction, which offers speech therapy for children with various speech and developmental delays, specializing in speech and language therapy with Deaf and Hard of Hearing children. She teaches courses at Illinois State University and has worked in the elementary setting as a Speech Language Pathologist with Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and children with multiple disabilities. Abbey is the co-author of the Signing Time Guide, “Using Signing Time with Children in Speech and Language Therapy.” You can send your congratulations to Abbey at abbey@signingtimeacademy.com.
